Bulletin Board

Comrades,

September 14th at 6 pm will be our next regular meeting in the basement of the Elk’s Lodge.

Please come to the meeting and share your input and concerns. We hope to see you members and Associates there.

Also, scout for any Veterans serving overseas for their APO address, so the Chapter can send them a care package. I have an email set up for the Chapter on this website, so bring the addresses to the regular meeting or email to vva_918@yahoo.com . Thank you.

We will post any new changes of information as needed here on the Bulletin Board.

Chapter VVA 918 member, Joe Brooks(left), and Dennis Wear, President, (right), attended the Missouri Vietnam War Memorial at the College of the Ozarks in Hollister Missouri, on April 22. Dennis said it was well worth the trip.

Scholarships

The two scholarships presented this year in 2016 were awarded to Todd Morrow of Lamar High School and Cole Hoffman of Stockton High School. We are honored to present these scholarships in recognition of those Veterans who gave everything in service to our Nation.

Let us remember our past comrades; Don Pollock, Robert Gardner, Bobby Hoover, Max Koenig, Howard Lightwine, Richard Thelander, Donald Thomas, Len Roby, Barbara Files, Roger Hada, and their families. Thanks for your support!

Sincerely,

Vietnam Veterans of America

Don E Pollock
